He uses his knowledge of sculpting techniques to create what he sees in his mind's eye and his freedom of creativity to arrive at his final result. This is what is done with Helix hair.
The Helix Sculpting System uses specially designed tools (scissors) that cut spiral movement into each section of hair. It's all about the art of design being cut into the hair first, thus low maintenance.
